VEDAMO supports children and youth in remote Roma communities with additional educational programs since 2014. The program is built mainly through partnerships with local NGOs, working on site.
VEDAMO provides online classes on various school subjects for students and evening sessions for school dropouts. Additional school and exams support is provided online for kids and young people in the Roma ghettos.
Impact
The results of the program are closely examined and show profound impact on the involved representatives of communities. Some of them have been reintegrated at school after online preparation for the entry exams, and others apply for better job positions, as they are constantly improving their language skills. The program has helped most of the teenage participants to graduate high school with a high success rate in the final exams. Some of them are now university students in Medicine, Pedagogy and Law.
